    Where does my gift go?

    All of your gift goes to Pink Paw. If you tick “cover the card fee”, you also pay Stripe’s fee. As a thank-you, your cats dance on our Moon Rave: the first is named after the cat you met, and we name the rest. A $5 gift brings 5 cats. Money goes to Pink Paw, not to one particular cat. It can take a while to reach Pink Paw, and the bar moves when it lands.

    Is it free, and what is a treat?

    Yes, it’s free. The games run in your browser, with no download. A treat is a small money gift to Pink Paw, paid by Token Tails from its own budget. You never pay for it. Tails Club is an optional paid membership; the games stay free without it.

    How does playing help the cats?

    Are the cats real?

    Yes. Every cat in “They’re waiting for you” lives at Pink Paw (Rožinė Pėdutė), a cat shelter in Kaunas, Lithuania. The photos and stories are the shelter’s own, shown with its permission. Other cats in our games come from Mil Bigotes, Puppy Kitty NYC and our community.

    Where does the Tails Club money go?

    Half of every payment goes to Pink Paw: $5 of each $9.99 monthly payment, or $39.50 of each $79 yearly payment. It goes to the shelter for the care of all its cats, not to one cat, and is paid out to the shelter.

    Who holds the money?

    Pink Paw holds its own shelter wallet. Card gifts and Pink Paw’s half of Tails Club are paid out to it, which can take a while. Every payout Pink Paw receives is public: public payout page.

    Are you a charity?

    No. Token Tails (an MB registered in Lithuania) is a company that makes games. A Tails Club membership is a purchase of a digital service, not a donation, and it is not tax-deductible.
