Pink Paw, or Rožinė pėdutė in Lithuanian, is a cat shelter in Kaunas, Lithuania. It takes in homeless cats, looks after them until they find homes, and runs a trap-neuter-return programme for street cats; it is also the shelter that Token Tails’ games are built around.

This page explains who Pink Paw are, how their cats appear in our games, where the money goes, and how you can check every payout yourself.

Key takeaways

  • Pink Paw (VšĮ Rožinė pėdutė) is a cat shelter at A. Juozapavičiaus pr. 68, Kaunas.
  • The shelter says it started on 4 November 2022 and publishes its own yearly statistics.
  • Pink Paw joined Token Tails on 10 March 2025; its cats appear in the Shelter scene and in Pink Paw Knight.
  • Since 16 October 2026, Token Tails’ on-chain payouts to the shelter go to Pink Paw’s own wallet, held by the staff.
  • Anyone can check each payout, with its transaction, at /shelter-payouts.

Who are Pink Paw?

Pink Paw describe themselves as a shelter and a community: a safe place for homeless cats and a push for responsible pet care. Everything in this section comes from the shelter’s own website, read on 19 October 2026, and is shelter-reported.

  • Where: A. Juozapavičiaus pr. 68, Kaunas, Lithuania.
  • What it is: a public institution, VšĮ Rožinė pėdutė.
  • Since: the shelter’s about page dates its start to 4 November 2022, run by its founder with a team of volunteers.
  • Street cats: a trap-neuter-return programme (in Lithuanian, “Pagauk, sterilizuok, paleisk”), so cats returned outside are healthy and neutered.
  • Community: film nights, exhibitions, talks and private events with the cats, which double as fundraisers.

The shelter publishes its own intake, rehoming and trap-neuter-return numbers by year on its statistics page. We link to it rather than copy the figures, so you always see the shelter’s latest count. Pink Paw also has an independent page on TailHarbor, a shelter site not run by Token Tails, and posts daily life with the cats on Instagram, @rozine.pedute.

Finding homes for the cats is the shelter’s own work: TailHarbor and Token Tails both send people to Pink Paw for that.

Pink Paw’s cats in the games

Pink Paw joined Token Tails on 10 March 2025. Since then their cats have been part of the games in two places.

The Shelter scene. In the main game at /game, tap MEET SHELTER CATS to see cats from the shelter. Each shelter cat card offers a basic-tier pixel cat for $5, by card or crypto, and Pink Paw’s share is 50% of each $5 shelter cat.

Pink Paw Knight. At /swordcat, you play Clem, a tiny knight cat with a pink bow, rescuing lost kittens. As the game puts it: “Every cat you save is a real cat at Pink Paw in Kaunas.”

Pink Paw’s own wallet

Since 16 October 2026, all of Token Tails’ mainnet ShelterSplit contracts pay one address that belongs to the shelter:

0x3c833562e682dB66C2415b34961595df135f4771

The staff hold the wallet’s recovery phrase. Token Tails created the wallet, handed the phrase to the staff and keeps a recovery backup for the shelter; we say so plainly because custody matters when money is involved. Before the handover, Token Tails held the shelter’s payouts in a separate wallet, and those older payouts are still listed on the payouts page.

You can open the wallet on the Arc explorer and see every incoming payment on Arc yourself; payouts on other networks are listed on /shelter-payouts. Here are the live payout figures, read when you load this page:

Each coin is counted on its own (USDC, EURC, USDC.e and USDG are never added together), and every amount on /shelter-payouts links to its transaction.

The goal: 50,000 USDC for Pink Paw

Token Tails has set one public target: Goal: 50,000 USDC for Pink Paw by 30 Sep 2027. It is a goal, not money raised, and /shelter-payouts shows progress toward it.

How to give to Pink Paw

There are four ways, from free to direct:

  1. Free: win a heist. Play Catnip Heist in the browser. After a win, tap once and Token Tails sends Pink Paw a 0.01 USDC treat from its own budget of 1 USDC of treats a day. You can also tap for a free treat at /shelter-payouts/give.
  2. $1: Moon Rave. At /rave, $1 = 1 cat on the dance floor. By card, Token Tails pays the full $1 out to Pink Paw on-chain; in USDC on Arc, the full $1 goes from the giver’s wallet straight to the Pink Paw split.
  3. $5: a shelter cat. In the Shelter scene at /game, Pink Paw’s share is 50% of each $5 shelter cat.
  4. Directly to the shelter. Pink Paw’s support page lists bank transfer, PayPal and Contribee. People who pay Lithuanian income tax can also assign 1.2% of it to the shelter at no cost to themselves.

The direct route does not pass through Token Tails, so it does not appear on our payouts page; it is between you and the shelter.
