Token Tails won the public vote at Technorama 2024, the innovation exhibition run by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). The exhibition took place on 29 May 2024 at KTU Santaka Valley in Kaunas, and visitors voted for their favourite project on show.
According to our announcement at the time, Token Tails stood out among 70 projects (company-reported). We have not found a public results page from the organisers, so we keep that qualifier.
What we showed
In 2024 Token Tails was an early pixel cat game: Purr Quest, a small role-playing game set around a virtual cat shelter. Our founder pitched it at the event and is pictured above with the award boards.
Why it mattered
The vote came from the public, not a jury, in Kaunas: the same city as the shelter we work with today.
Earlier that May we had joined Microsoft for Startups, received a Stellar Community Fund grant (SCF #26) and started the Rockit x Firstpick accelerator.
Update, October 2026
A lot has changed since 2024. Token Tails now makes several free cat games, including Catnip Heist and the main game at /game, tied to one real shelter: Pink Paw (Rožinė pėdutė) in Kaunas. Every payout to the shelter is public at /shelter-payouts.
